Kashu, an Earth sprite in a rural village, is a quiet girl who lives her everyday life on a humble farm. But a recent flooding of a nearby river is going to change everything; between the troubles of damaged crops ruining her village's finances, and the arrival of homeless Water sprites — with whom the Earth sprites have been enemies for decades — Kashu will find her everyday life becoming a lot more hectic.
Add in a strict, young Water sprite, a traveling boy with trust problems, and a goofy gang of three, the whole story gets a lot more crazy.
Why do the Earth and Water sprites have such a prejudice against each other? What will the results of the flood be?
And just how will all these new people affect Kashu's life...?
