サイハテ / Saihate / The Farthest Ends
Performed by Hatsune Miku

Music: Kobayashi Onikisu (Adamaurow on Piapro)

English

What kind of place it is over there?
If you get there alright, I want a letter or something
To you, who is opening the door and crossing over to the other side
It'd be nice if this singing and prayer is reaching you

Today, there’s a cloudless and clear sky
It’s almost sad, it’s a good day for parting
Just as though this ordinary life was being painted red
So was our graceful love, so was our graceful love
Farewell

If I believe that we'll meet again someday
Then I can pass through the unchanging days
If the door closes, then we'll be separated
Your remains will become a cloud, and then rain

Just as though this ordinary life was being painted red
So was our graceful love, so was our graceful love
Farewell

Notes: In case you haven't noticed, this song can be interpreted two ways. The more optimistic interpretation is she is bidding farewell to someone who is going/moving to far away. The more likely option is that this is a requiem to a dead lover/friend.
